1. Preamble
These Terms and Conditions apply to any tiny house booking made with Stuga, whether via the website, by phone, or by email.
2. Booking
The booking is confirmed upon receipt of payment (or the required deposit) and the sending of an email confirmation. The customer must be of legal age and legally capable.
3. Pre-booking
Outside of the open season, customers may submit a pre-booking without immediate payment. The pre-booking will be confirmed by Stuga once bookings open or declined if the dates are no longer available.
4. Prices
Prices are shown in euros, all taxes included. They cover the accommodation and items specified in each tiny house description. Any additional charges (activities, tourist tax) are listed separately.
5. Payment
Payment may be made using the methods offered at the time of booking: credit card, bank transfer, on-site payment, or gift card. The balance is due no later than upon arrival, unless otherwise indicated.
6. Check-in and check-out
Check-in and check-out times are specified in the booking confirmation. Any late arrival or early departure must be reported.
7. Capacity
The number of guests (adults and children) must not exceed the maximum capacity indicated for each tiny house. Exceeding this may result in the termination of the stay without refund.
8. Cancellation by the customer
- Cancellation more than 30 days before arrival: full refund (excluding any handling fees).
- Between 15 and 30 days before: 50% refund.
- Less than 15 days before: no refund, except in justified cases of force majeure.
9. Cancellation by Stuga
If the booking cannot be honored (force majeure, damage, etc.), Stuga will offer to reschedule or refund the amounts paid in full.
10. Customer obligations
The customer agrees to comply with the house rules, to use the premises with due care, and to report any damage. The customer is responsible for any damage caused during the stay.
11. Pets
The acceptance of pets is specified in each tiny house description. When accepted, pets must be kept on a leash in common areas.
12. Insurance
The customer is encouraged to take out holiday rental insurance or verify that their civil liability covers any potential damage.
13. Complaints
Any complaint must be sent by email within 7 days after the end of the stay. Stuga will respond as soon as possible.
14. Governing law and disputes
These Terms and Conditions are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, an amicable solution will be sought first. Failing that, French courts have sole jurisdiction. The customer may also use the European Online Dispute Resolution platform: ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
